Operational Notes

• Primary supported workflow is login-node labgate ui plus compute-node labgate claude in an interactive allocation.
• labgate ui requires host tmux to be installed or loaded via cluster modules.
• labgate claude auto-starts labgate ui in local non-SSH/non-SLURM shells when UI is not already running.
• network.mode=none is rejected for claude and codex; use host or filtered.
• SLURM tracking defaults are enabled (slurm.enabled=true, slurm.mcp_server=true) in default config.
• Config defaults to ~/.labgate/config.json; override path with LABGATE_CONFIG_PATH if needed.
• Use labgate -v as a lowercase alias for version output.
