This page explains how the LabGate website at labgate.devprocesses data when you visit the site, read documentation, or contact us.
The website is operated by Dr. Philipp Münch. Contact details are listed on the Impressum page.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the website is used and to improve the site content, navigation, and performance.
Based on Vercel's current product documentation, this analytics service is designed to work without third-party cookies and to store anonymized, aggregated traffic data. The data that may be processed includes page paths, referrers, approximate geolocation, browser, operating system, device type, and the time of the visit.
LabGate additionally strips URL query strings before analytics events are sent and does not send visits to the /admin area to Vercel Analytics.
If you contact us directly by email, or if you use the contact page to open a prefilled email draft and then send that message, we process the information you provide so that we can respond to your request and continue the related conversation if needed.
The contact form on this website prepares the message locally in your browser first. The form data is not transmitted to LabGate until you actually send the email from your mail app.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP address, request metadata, timestamps, and error logs to deliver the website, maintain uptime, and investigate abuse or security incidents.
Where GDPR applies, we process technical and analytics data based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the website. If we process information that you actively send to us, we do so in order to handle your request and, where applicable, to take steps prior to entering into a contract.
Website infrastructure and analytics are provided through Vercel. Vercel acts as a service provider for hosting and analytics processing. You can read more in Vercel's own analytics and privacy documentation.
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including responding to inquiries, complying with legal obligations, and resolving security or operational issues.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the website, its analytics setup, or applicable legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
